Dozens of kids' vision screened in March
Our Lions vision screening team has been busy so far this March:
3/3 - Children's Garden Montessori School off Bond Rd - 13 screened, 1 referred - Steve Calhoun, Elda Armstrong, and Candy Peters;
3/9 - Martha & Mary's Children's Learning Center on Front St - 6 screened, 3 referred - Steve, Karen Reitan, Diane Mayda, and Candy;
3/10 - Martha & Mary's Kids in Silverdale - 68 screened, 13 referred - Steve, Karen, Diane, and Sherri Burch.

Brown bag last 2 March meetings
Due to Covid-19 and fewer Lions attending meetings, Poulsbo Lions are asked to bring your own lunch to the March 19 and 26 meetings.

Lions have been busy screening children's vision. On Monday at a
Montessori school, 6 kids were screened with one referred on. Tuesday,
65 kids were screened and 14 referrals made at Silverdale's Martha & Mary Early Learning Center. Many thanks to Lions Steve

Coffee Oasis thanks us for $2,000 check
Thank you to the Poulsbo Lions Club for their generosity in granting The Coffee Oasis a check for $2,000! The Coffee Oasis is so appreciative of the Poulsbo Lions Club support and for our partnership in helping change the world for homeless youth.
Club receives appreciation from American Legion for park work
Rich Solinsky of the American Legion presented Lion Linda Schwind with a certificate of appreciation Feb. 27 for support Poulsbo Lions gave last year with the Front Street park.

The best way to experience Lions Club is to join us for lunch. Stop by our Thursday meeting to visit with us and we'll buy your lunch and treat you to one of our guest speakers - just for seeing what we're all about.

Vinland kids screened

Poulsbo Lions spent $335 on 130 loads of laundry for at 23 people February 19. Lions helping out include Terry Blais, Carol Ryan, Dennis Tesch, Dave Risley, and Maria and Ray McMahon. Our next Loads of Change will be Fishline's March 4 Loads of Change from 2-6 pm.

107 screened during Project Connect
7 Poulsbo Lions helped screen the vision of 107 people, mostly adults,
during Project Connect yesterday. 100 people were given prescriptions in
the 2-1/2 hours. Lions helping include Diane Mayda, Pauline Ostheller,
Zone Chair Elda Armstrong, June Cotner, District Governor Pat Burch and
his wife, Sherri, and Karen Reitan.
