Ostheller earns first-ever Progressive Melvin Jones Award; new board installed

Past District Governor Patrick Burch gives Karl Ostheller the club's first-ever Progressive Melvin Jones Award.

Our club's annual Installation and Awards Night took place at the Kiana Lodge yesterday. Top awards went to Karl Ostheller (Progressive Melvin Jones Fellowship) for his leadership with Leos at the district and club levels, the Peace Poster contest, and collecting teddy bears for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital among other things.

Elda Armstrong presents her friend Karen Reitan with a Melvin Jones Award.

Two Melvin Jones awards were given to Karen Reitan, who's been serving on the vision committee for years and is our service chair, as well as Rob Ratcliff of the Evening Pride Branch Club for his amazing work in the Firehouse Garden, which has donated thousands of pounds of veggies to Sharenet.

Rob Ratcliff receives a Melvin Jones Award from Evening Pride Branch Club President David Risley.

Incoming Poulsbo Lions Club President Larry Linn received the President's Pin from outgoing President Patrick Osler (above). This will be Linn's second time as president of the club.
