New Lions inducted at lunch meeting

(From L to R): President Ginger Shields, new Lion Lisa Hobbs, Lion Lynnea Herrman and the new Lion she sponsored, Joe Stenstrom, Past King Lion Matt Lind, and Lion Elda Armstrong, who sponsored Hobbs.
Our club has grown by two new members - Lisa Hobbs and Joe Stenstrom. The two will sport yellow vests until they've fulfilled certain duties.
Lion Lynnea Herrman sponsored Stenstrom - a sandwich artist at Subway - into the club, while Lion Elda Armstrong sponsored Hobbs, who works at Union Bank.
It's GREAT to be a Lion!

Spellman hits 10-year membership mark

Lion Irv Spellman has been a Poulsbo Noon Lions Club member for 10 years. He was given a certificate at today's lunch meeting by President Ginger Shields.

October programs announced

The following are Poulsbo Noon Lions Club programs scheduled for 12:15 p.m. lunch meetings at First Lutheran Church:

Oct. 4: Brad Johnson from Yank A Part, our partner in our used car sales;
Oct. 11: Suquamish historian
Oct. 18: Steak Night (in Port Gamble at the Masonic Hall), 6 p.m.
Oct. 25: PO1 Porter, USCG, and his drug dog.
