Leos of the Year named for Kingston, North Kitsap high schools

Tara Battaglia was named Leo of the Year for our entire 19C District. Tara, a NKHS Leo, received her award for outstanding leadership and community service from District Governor Jan Weatherly.

Kingston High Leo Chris Nardelli and North Kitsap High Leo Nate Blanchard were named Leo of the Year for their leadership at today's lunch meeting. The awards were presented by Lion Karl Ostheller, our club liaison.

Join our Lions Club! We have a noon lunch meeting tomorrow (Thursday) in the Social Hall at First Lutheran Church on 4th Avenue. And if evenings are better for you, our Evening Pride Branch Club meets tomorrow night at 7 in the Religious Education Building at St. Olaf's on Caldart Avenue.

Camp Leo dates announced

Camp Leo is for children with diabetes. Here are the dates for this year's camp:
High School - July 7-13. Grades 10-12, $680
 Middle School - July 16-20, Grades 6-7, $580
Junior High - July 23-28. Grades 8-9, $630
Elementary - July 30-August 2, Grades 3-5, $410.
