LEOs pull off huge blood drive

"Share the Love" nets approximately $1,500

Lion Neil J. boosted the club's coffers with his sweet See's candy "Share the Love" fund-raiser, to the tune of approximately $1,500.

The Lions shared more See's candy, lunch and fellowship at the Valentine's gathering Feb. 12 in the social hall at First Lutheran Church.

Extra 10% on recycled cell phones & ink cartridges

Our club has been given a coupon good for an additional 10 percent on all printer ink cartridges and cell phones that are recycled before the end of March.

Bring all of your recyclables to a noon meeting for Lion Jay. He is going to make one big shipment on March 31.

The Poulsbo Lions Club gets a regular rebate check from people who have an Albertson's Preferred Card linked to our club. But it's time to relink your card! This must be done by March 1, 2009.

LEO Club hosts car wash and blood drive

The LEOs have a car wash this Saturday, Feb. 7, at Liberty Tax on Viking Way. Please plan to come by between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. to get your car washed - and tell your friends!

The LEOs are sponsoring a blood drive on Friday, February 13, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the North Kitsap High School in the small gym.
