Lions logging hours during pandemic

Poulsbo Lions have been busy! In August and September, more than 20 Lions volunteered more than 400 hours doing everything from being a chaplin for fire and sheriff departments, helping low-income families with laundry, driving the elderly to appointments and grocery shopping for them, picking up used eyeglasses, getting vouchers for an eye exam and eyeglasses, cleaning up Fish Park, cooking dinners for the homeless, setting up and taking down flags on holidays, sewing face masks for the elderly, growing veggies and giving them to Fishline and Sharenet, volunteering at the Maritime Museum, and fulfilling club officer and chairman duties.
So even if you don't see us, we're helping out in our community. Contact us if you'd like to become involved and/or become a Poulsbo Lions. #poulsbolions #weserve #feedhungry #makefacemasks #cleanlaundry #recycleeyeglasses
