Our vision screening team went to the Gateway Learning Center April 11. The team - Lions Steve Calhoun, Greg Neal and Jeff Olsen - screened 24 kids and referred 3 for further evaluation.

Five more dates for vision screening team

Our vision screening team screened the sight of 65 students at The Island School on Bainbridge Island, and had eight referrals.

The team consisted of Lions Karen Reitan, Pauline Ostheller, Kathy Moncrief and Steve Calhoun.

We have five screenings coming up in the next four weeks.

71 children screened this week

Poulsbo Lions have been busy screening children's vision. On Monday at a Montessori school, 6 kids were screened with one referred on. Tuesday, 65 kids were screened and 14 referrals made at Silverdale's Martha & Mary Early Learning Center.
