Blanchard starts junior year at Cal Poly with Lion scholarship

Poulsbo Lion and student Nate Blanchard is entering his junior year at Cal Poly and will be doing school online from Poulsbo due to the coronavirus. He's another recipient of a Poulsbo Lions Raab Foundation scholarship.
Meanwhile Nate is keeping busy running his business, Spic & Span Windows, where he cleans windows, roofs, and gutters. Give him a call to get a good energetic job done.
Nate has two goals for the not too distant future: 1) Do a bicycle trip from Mexico to Canada next spring; and 2) begin medical school in the fall. #poulsbolions #weserve #scholarships

August laundromat visit amounts to $221.25

For our August 19 Loads of Change, we served 13 people/families, doing 69 loads of laundry to the tune of $221.25. Thanks to Lions Terry Blais and Kelley Vincent for feeding the quarters into the machines and bringing snacks and water. As always, donations of money, detergent, fabric softener, snacks and socks, etc. are always welcome.

Our own Lion Jayroe receives college scholarship

Poulsbo Lion and student Ashley Jayroe picked up her scholarship check recently. She is still enrolled with Western Washington with only 2 more quarters to go to graduate. She will be working on-line this fall quarter because of the coronavirus. Meanwhile she continues to work at Old Navy. Our club is fortunate to have the funds from our Poulsbo Lions Raab Foundation. #poulsbolions #scholarships #WeServe
