More than 100 stuffies donated to Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

We collected and delivered more than 105 stuffed animals for the kids at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital for Christmas.

Vision team screens Martha & Mary daycare children

 Our vision screening team of Steve Calhoun, Karen Reitan, Laurie Sarver and Kathy Moncrief tested the eyes of 58 kids at Martha & Mary Daycare in Poulsbo on Tuesday, referring 8 kids on for further testing.

Montessori kids get vision screened this week

Vision team screens sight of 46 kids this week

Extra lunkers bought for April 30 fishing derby

Our Hooked on Fish event for kids aged 12 and under is set for Saturday, April 30, from 7 am to 2 pm. Bait and some poles will be available, as well as general help. Our Poulsbo Lions bought an extra $500 worth of BIG fish.

71 children screened this week

Poulsbo Lions have been busy screening children's vision. On Monday at a Montessori school, 6 kids were screened with one referred on. Tuesday, 65 kids were screened and 14 referrals made at Silverdale's Martha & Mary Early Learning Center. Another 93 children screened

Poulsbo Lions Steve Calhoun, Karen Reitan, Pauline Ostheller, Eric Thanem and Ginger Shields screened the vision of 93 children at Gateway this past week. Twelve children were referred on.
