Loads of Change helps 33 people with laundromat costs

 


Poulsbo Lions had our Loads of Change yesterday at the Village Laundromat. We spent $368, which included $50 in Lion donations and a $25 donation from a boat lady.
We served 33 people, washed 59 loads and dried 78 loads. #helpingtheunhoused #cleanlaundry #poulsbolions #weserve

 It's laundry time again - coming up tomorrow, Weds., July 19, from 2-6 pm. Please have the last load of wash in no later than 5:30 because our volunteers want to leave at 6! Thanks.

Gordon receives Lion scholarship

Congrats to Tenichi Gordon, a graduate of NKHS. He received a Poulsbo Lions scholarship from Karl Ostheller last Thursday at our meeting. Tenichi is going to Michigan State University. #nkhs #scholarships #poulsbolions #weserve #michiganbound

Dahlquist receives Quilt of Valor

 

Lion Linda Schwind presented Jay Dahlquist, who served in the Army, with a Quilt of Valor at Thursday's meeting.
The QOV is a quality, handmade quilt that is machine or hand quilted. It is awarded to a service member or veteran who has been touched by war. The quilt says, "Thank you for your service and sacrifice in serving our nation." #quiltofvalor #poulsbolions #weserve #veterans
