The art of setting up

Just sharing a few photos of our Poulsbo Lions getting stuff out of storage (thank you Reliable Storage!) to set up at the Viking Fest Pancake Breakfast a few weeks ago. It took Lions Tom Settle, Greg Supancheck, Ryan Smart, Rick Wright, Scott Puhn, Larry Lynn and Sherri Burch to grab the grills and tables and various supplies. #Vikingfest #poulsbolions #Lionspancakebreakfast #WeServe #pancakesforscholarships

Look for more familiar faces at this weekend's pancake breakfast

Our most recent pancake breakfast was in May 2019. We had Lions Michele Grenier, Jay Dahlquist and Linda Schwind greeting people, taking their money, giving them tickets and stamping hands. Look for these three again this weekend! Oh, and if you haven't heard yet, there's a shuttle from the high school to downtown's festivities for a suggested minimum donation of $3.

Many thanks to Reliable Storage

Here is Lion John Macdonald and Scott Puhn getting a grill in place while setting up for the pancake breakfast during Viking Fest in May 2018. We are fortunate to have the support of Reliable Storage to hold all of our tables, grills, etc. for the pancake breakfast, as well as items such as a fridge, 10-foot booth and more for our strawberry shortcake booth. Thank you so much!

2017 pancake breakfast raises more than $4,400 for scholarships

Kent Lord, our club president, stamps a lion on a woman to show she's paid. Also at the table, Neil Torvik (handing out stamps) and Jay Dahlquist (taking money).

Our 2017 Viking Fest Pancake Breakfast attracted around 1,000 people, bringing in $4,429.95 over our costs. We had a $1,000 donation as well as $3,000 given from the Poulsbo Lions Raab Foundation for a total of $8,400 toward area scholarships.

Many thanks to those who supported our breakfast, as well as our various Leo students. You're the best!
