Lions set up and take down American flags on Flag Day

Poulsbo Lions set up and take down flags on various holidays throughout the year along Highway 305, Viking Avenue and Front Street (pictured).

What is the meaning of Flag Day? On this day 246 years ago, Congress created our national flag by commemorating Betsy Ross' creation of the Stars & Stripes.
