Lions have Viking Fest parade entry again

Thanks to Lion Dori Swokowski, our Poulsbo Lions had a really nice trailer to ride on for the Viking Fest parade Saturday afternoon while North Kitsap High and Poulsbo Middle School LEOs walked along handing out candy. It was a super busy weekend for our club!

Lion Ginger Shields (aka Leo the Lion) leads our Poulsbo Lions down the parade route Saturday at Viking Fest. That's Pat Burch, VDG Jan Weatherly and Sherri Burch carrying the centennial banner, with the pickup (notice the eyeglasses!), Leos walking alongside and Lions riding on the bed.

We had a minion on our float!

The two-day breakfast this year was held at North Kitsap High School and raised approximately $5,500 for scholarships.

Kingston Leo Tess and Susan Cannarella. Cannarella was a North Kitsap High School Leo. She is now a junior at Washington State University, majoring in fine arts and digital technology and animation. It's her dream to work for Disney.
