Lions round up 80 stuffies for Seattle Children's Hospital

Poulsbo Lions have rounded up 80 stuffed animals for Lion David Damazo to deliver to the kids at Seattle Children's Hospital.

Poulsbo Middle School LEOs spread joy

The Panther LEO Club ran a Teddy Bear Drive to gather new stuffed animals to give to children undergoing treatment at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital during the holidays. They gathered over a dozen bears, dragons, puppies, and koalas to add to the 50+ toys gathered by the Poulsbo Lions Club.

The LEOs are also holding a Winter Warmth Drive to benefit Georgia's House, a shelter facility in Kitsap County providing refuge for families in need. We just completed our first delivery of "wish list" items last week, and will do a second delivery after the winter break. So far, students have collected over 150 lbs of "wish list" items from clothing to cleaning supplies.

 Poulsbo Lions are currently collecting new teddy bears for Mary Bridge Hospital, seeking photographs of the NK area for a fundraising calendar, and planning for upcoming events like White Canes and Viking Fest. More teddy bears sought for children's hospital

 

We will be doing another Teddy Bear donation collection on Friday, February 10th (prior to Valentine’s Day) for kids at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. The 147 bears we collected are already gone! All donations will be gratefully accepted by Mary Bridge. Plush toys must be new and have tags still on them. If you buy ahead of time, put the plush toys in plastic bags.

And we have a drop location at John L. Scott Real Estate off of Highway 305. Look for a Lions sign for teddy bears, as well as laundry detergent for Loads of Change. #poulsbolions #marybridge #teddybears #WeServe

 

 

Club brings teddy bears for Mary Bridge Children's Hospital

Poulsbo Lions collected 45 bears and LEOs added 32 for kids at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. Lions delivered 149 total bears today, with the rest of the bears coming from other Lions.

Club goes Mexican for Christmas party

Our club celebrated with a Christmas party at Casa Mexico Thursday. Live music by Jimmy and a friend! Fun times and good food. We also brought 39 new teddy bears to donate to the kids at Mary Bridge hospital.

Leos, Lions contribute 90 teddy bears to kids with cancer

 

Lion Larry Linn took charge of collecting new teddy bears for children in the cancer ward at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital. Kingston High and North Kitsap High LEOs each added a dozen bears to make the total 90! The project is sponsored by Jim and Dee McDermott of the Olympia Host Club. Lion Pat Burch will deliver the teddy bears Dec. 8.
