Munoz wins Peace Poster contest locally

 

Congratulations to our Peace Poster winning artist Sarah Muñoz, a student of Poulsbo Middle School art teacher Kate Ebert.
Sarah had parents Tony and Jolene on hand to see her receive a certificate and $59 cash prize for her effort. Every was also present. #poulsbolions #weserve #peaceposter #pmsart #kateebert #poulsbo

Peters, Cary are club Peace Poster winners

Our Poulsbo Lions Club and Leo Advisor Karl Ostheller are proud to announce our 2023 Peace Poster prize winners - Aidan Cary representing Kingston Middle School (pictured with his mom and grandma), and Jane Peters representing Poulsbo Middle School (pictured with her mom and grandparents). Both students received a certificate and gift card. The Peace Posters will go on to the Lions' district competition. Way to go!

Peace Poster middle schoolers selected

 UPDATE: Alicia's Peace Poster made it through District C4 and is now onto Multiple District 19! Way to go!!!

Congrats to Peace Poster prize winners Alicia Tubb, 12, of Poulsbo Middle School and Thomas Huerta, 13, of Kingston Middle School. They are standing in front of their Peace Posters. Alicia's will be submitted to our district Lions. Each student received a certificate and $50 at today's Poulsbo Lions Club meeting at Vinland Lutheran Church.

Mason-Todd takes club and district peace poster wins


Congrats to Peace Poster winner Wren Mason-Todd, who earned top honors not only from our club, but our district as well! Wren received two $50 gift cards from our Leo liaison Karl Ostheller.

KMS Leo receives peace poster award; Ostheller honored too

Lion Karl Ostheller presented a certificate and gift card to Kingston Middle School student Sophia Brown at Thursday's meeting. Sophia created the winning Peace Poster for her school. Then KMS art teacher Diane Stewart presented Karl with a certificate! He's the go-to guy for all of the Leo Clubs in North Kitsap.


Congrats to KMS student Sophia Brown for winning the Peace Poster contest for her school! Lion Karl Ostheller holds her $50 gift card prize at yesterday's meeting. Sophia was there with her dad.


KMS art teacher Diane Stewart prepared a speech and certificate to thank Lion Karl for all that he does for the Leos and Peace Poster contest. He's the best!

Peace Poster artists receive gift cards, certificates


Budding artists Delaney Moench of Kingston Middle School (top) and Wren Mason-Todd of Poulsbo Middle School receive certificates and gift cards for their second and first place prizes in the Peace Poster contest, respectively, at our noon meeting today. Wren's peace poster placed first in our zone (C4), and went on to take first in our District C. Congrats to both girls!

Poulsbo Middle student wins district prize


Our Poulsbo Lions peace poster entry has once again won the District C peace poster contest! The winning entry is being mailed to Multiple District 19 to compete for the bigger prize. Our winner is the sister of last year's winner - Wren Mason-Todd, who is a 12-year-old 7th grader at Poulsbo Middle School.

Mason-Todd receives award at noon meeting


Greta Mason-Todd, a Poulsbo Middle School student, came with her mom to today's noon meeting. Greta's Peace Poster won our district and is at the next level of competition (Multiple District 19). Today, she received this certificate and will also receive $50. Great job, Greta! Also in the photo is President Kent Lord (left) and Lion Karl Ostheller.

PMS student's peace post wins district


Poulsbo Middle School’s Greta Mason-Todd has won the District 19C Peace Poster Contest, and the right to represent District 19C at the next level of judging. Her poster will now compete at the Multiple District 19 level.
Approximately 40 19C cabinet members voted during the Nov. 21 cabinet meeting to determine the winning poster.
Greta’s sponsoring club is the Poulsbo Lions Club. Karl Ostheller is the club’s Peace Poster Contest coordinator.
Way to go Greta!
