Poulsbo Lions fed 375 North Kitsap School District educators, staff and administrators lunch at an annual workshop last Wednesday.

One teacher said, “Being greeted by the Lions and served a meal made me feel part of something bigger than just a school district—it felt like being welcomed home.” Another attendee said, “This meal was more than food; it was a reminder that we are supported by our community.”

Lions provided a lunch of brats with peppers and onions, potato salad, watermelon and cookies. Whether organizing vision screenings, supporting local food banks, or serving meals at community events, Lions operate with humility and an unwavering commitment to the greater good.

Lions are always looking for excited new members who want to make a difference in their community. If interested, you're invited to attend one of our upcoming Thursday meetings. We meet from noon to 1:15 pm at Vinland Lutheran Church.
