Six years of clean laundry for the unhoused and needy

It's hard to believe it's already been 6 years that we've been doing our Loads of Change service project. So many Lions and friends have volunteered, and so many people in our community have been helped. When we started, we were only spending around $100 a month. Now that number is between $500 and $600. We offer the unhoused and needy in North Kitsap laundry services, taking care of laundry detergent, fabric softener and often other items such as clean socks, toiletries, gloves and more.

Our next Loads of Change is Weds., Oct. 16, from 2-6 p.m. at the Village Laundromat in the Poulsbo Village Shopping Center.
Donations are always appreciated. They may be dropped off at John L. Scott Real Estate attn: Dennis Deitch.
