Poulsbo Lions will gather at Rob Ratcliff's home to plant a couple trays of celery seedlings for the community's Firehouse Garden at 10 a.m. on Feb. 24.
Ratcliff puts in many hours planning and prepping the garden. All of the veggies grown are given to ShareNet Food Bank in Kingston. Many Lions are needed - especially from May to October - to weed, plant and harvest. Please contact Ratcliff at mrratcliff@embarqmail.com if you're interested in helping.
