Firehouse Garden planting is underway

Our Firehouse Garden has been rototilled and a few more veggies are in the ground! Thanks to Eric Blais for rototilling and to Lions Rob Ratcliff and Terry Blais for planting seeds Sunday morning. There has been a work party one weekend day for the past few weeks. Come Sunday at 10 am to help!

Eric Blais is not a Poulsbo Lion, though he is married to one. He spent 1-1/2 hours rototilling over the same ground at varying depths.

Evening Pride Branch Club Lion Rob Ratcliff (left) is the man with the plan. He checks soil temperatures and determines when each veggie gets planted.

The newly rototilled area where be where pumpkins and corn will be planted. We'll be able to grow so much more produce!
