Donations coming in for Loads of Change project
Our Loads of Change yesterday helped 6 people with 20 loads in the
washer and 18 in the dryer for a total of $93.25. Our next event is
March 20 from 2-6 pm at the Village Laundromat in Poulsbo.
In
addition to offering free laundry detergent and fabric softener sheets,
we had bottles of water, bananas, snack packs (thanks to Steve and Karen Calhoun), men's and women's toiletry bags (thanks to Rosario's Salon), socks,
umbrellas, gloves and even a couple of hand warming packets, thanks to
generous donors.
Lion Carol Ryan spent the afternoon feeding quarters into washers and dryers. She's the best!
