43 Poulsbo Lions and family members, Leos and others picnicked at Nelson Park Aug. 14. Past president David Damazo and his wife, Becky, brought KFC chicken, Tom Settle brought corn on the cob (a Dick Prine favorite!) and others brought a variety of food and desserts to the annual potluck.
Special guests included Miss West Sound Ally Newhouse, Poulsbo Evening Pride Branch Club member Amanda Cheatham and her mom, and the new NKHS principal, Dr. Jimmy Sellers. We were also treated to Mike Regis, a past Poulsbo Lions Club president.
The evening concluded with the playing of chicken cornhole which was won again by Leo-Lion Emalee Burgh and her partner, Newhouse.
