Poulsbo loses a great Lion in Herb Armstrong

We recently lost a truly great Lion in Herb Armstrong, who joined Poulsbo Lions in 1972. Herb died Jan. 13 at his home in Kingston. He was the president of the club in 1976, and was involved in numerous Lion events over the decades - Camp Leo, the "Hooked on Fish" children's fishing derby with wife Elda, our pancake breakfast, White Cane Days and many others. Herb was named a Melvin Jones Fellow in 2002. We are all the richer for having known Herb. His spirit will live long in the hearts of Poulsbo Lions!
