Bellringer Campaign finishes with $28k+
Our Poulsbo Lions/Raab Foundation Bellringer Campaign has ended with a total of $28,776.78. Funds may be accepted year 'round (see right-hand column).
The proceeds will be distributed as such: $1,000 to Coffee Oasis; $7,000 to Fishline Food Bank; $7,000 to St. Vincent's of Poulsbo; and $7,000 to Sharenet in Kingston. These organizations disburse the funds as needed on a one-time-only basis for help with anything from a utility bill to a tank of gas, help with rent, etc.
Many thanks to our Poulsbo Lions, John Macdonald and Dennis Tesch, for the work they do all year long for our club and the Raab Foundation.

A hankie, really?
After a recent story about a waiter in Cabo finding what he thought was
women's underwear (Jay Dahlquist, our treasurer, says it was his handkerchief), Roger Sherrard bought Jay a
new hankie from Victoria's secret! Who says Lions don't have fun?

Evening Pride wraps up $200 fund-raiser
Members of the Evening Pride Branch Club offered to wrap Christmas gifts for donations on two separate occasions at Barnes & Noble in Silverdale. The store provided the wrapping paper and ribbon, and the Lions provided the labor.
Branch members had fun, made new friends and brought in $200 for their efforts.
