About Us

The Poulsbo Noon Lions Club was established in 1942 and is going strong 82 years later with current President Larry Linn. We meet every Thursday from 12:15-1:15 at Vinland Lutheran Church, 2750 NW Finn Hill Rd, Poulsbo. Currently, you need to bring your own lunch. Coffee and water are provided. We started the Evening Pride Branch of our club in 2007. Those meetings are the first and third Thursday of every month at 7 p.m. at Brookdale, Lincoln Rd., Poulsbo.

Lions is kindness in action. When caring people join together, roll up their sleeves and take action to make their community better, it’s a beautiful thing—and an incredible feeling for everyone involved. That’s Lions. Being a Lion is about leading by example, building relationships and improving the world through kindness. It’s 1.4 million caring men and women serving together so they can make a lasting impact and change more lives.

Lions raise funds and give their time freely to help the less fortunate. Although our primary objective is to stop world blindness, we do other activities to stop deafness, diabetes, drug and alcohol dependency, famine, aid in natural disaster relief, and much more.

When you join Lions, you join a global service network. So, at the same time you're doing local community service, you can also contribute to Lions volunteer efforts around the world.

If you are interested in serving the North Kitsap community, we invite you to attend a meeting - they're great fun! Please contact Andy Hento, membership chair, at 360.621.1485.
