Lions is kindness in action. When caring people roll up their sleeves to serve, communities grow stronger. For 84 years, the Poulsbo Lions have supported North Kitsap — from vision screenings and flags to laundry service and fresh‑grown veggies. The final numbers are in for Loads of Change today. We helped 15 people with 79 loads of laundry to the tune of $253.25. One woman using the laundromat donated $23. Thank you so much! And thanks to Lions Terry and Maria for feeding the quarters in the machine and making water, snacks, toiletries, scarves/socks/gloves available.
On February 6, the LEOs helped in the planting of the new Fish Park parking lot and boardwalk areas, along with Lions Elda Armstrong, Steve Calhoun and Karl Ostheller.
