Our 2016 Birthday Calendar fund-raiser brought in approximately $2,329 that will benefit the community.
Every year for the past 61 years, Poulsbo Lions have sold tear-off calendars to North Kitsap residents that lists their birthdays and anniversaries. Many of the advertisers offer discounts or freebies the week of these events, which is great fun - especially for kids.
This year, our club members sold 254 calendars. Any Poulsbo Lion who sold at least 20 calendars gets a free steak dinner on Thursday, Oct. 29, at 6 p.m. at the Masonic Lodge in Port Gamble. The menu includes a tossed salad and baked potato.
Many thanks to the residents and businesses who support our calendar campaign!
