The Poulsbo Lions foursome of Larry Linn, Ginger Shields, John MacDonald and Chuck Weaver represented us in the Hoodsport golf tournament at the end of June. Linn said, "We took last place with ease, but there
was no prize.
"Several close
calls on the course - the golf cart saved Chuck from a stray shot, or was it
John??? John nearly won the long drive contest! He was edged out by twenty or
so others. I hit John in the nose with the rear hatch door on my van, causing
him to spill coffee on his white shirt front - this happened before play
started.
"Chuck wore pink shorts."
Linn said he's looking forward to attending the event
next year.
