Homes needed for 2-3 weeks for exchange students

There's an opportunity to share your Lions Club, community and home with a young person from another country for 2-3 weeks as part of the Lions Youth Exchange Program.  There are youths coming to our Lions Multiple District from Germany, Finland, Italy and Japan in July and August. These young folks are in need of host families. It is a great opportunity to learn about another culture and to share our great Northwest with an eager young person from another country. They spend one half of their time on the west side of the MD or in Canada and the other on this side of the MD if we can find host families.

The youths from Germany are: Lukas (male) age 16 for a 2-week stay for 2 sets of dates (7/14-7/28 or 7/28-8/11);
Victoria (female) age 16 dates unavailable at this time but probably the same as Lukas;
Christian (male) age 17 Dates unavailable at this time but probably the same as Lukas.

The youths from Finland are: Ann (female) age 18 for a 3 week stay ( 6/30-7/21 or 7/21-8/11), and  Elli (female) age 17 for a 2 week stay (7/7-7/21 or 7/21-8/4).

The youths from Italy are: Fabrizio (male) age 18 for a 2 week stay (7/7-7/21 or 7/21-8/4)
Giacomo (male) age 17 for a 2 week stay (7/4-7/21 or 7/21-8/4)

The youths from Japan are: Narumi (female) age 18 for a 2 week stay (8/2-8/15 or 8/15-8/27); Yumi (female) age 20 for a 2 week stay (8/2-8/15 or 8/15-8/27); and Shohei (male) age 16 for a 2 week stay (8/2-8/15 or 8/15-8/27).

Your only obligation to these young folks is to welcome them into your home, treat them as family and share a bit of our area with them. They arrive and depart at the nearest airport (Lewiston) and have their own spending money.
